What would you highlight about Carlton Hotel
Good for a short stay.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They give us good tips on were to eat. The breakfast was nice and fresh. The hotel was close to the train station. The room was clean and tidy.
The location was not the best. While the street where the hotel is located was good, due to road constructions, we had to walk past the parallel street which was full of drug addicts and shady people throughout the day. It was not the best experience and we did not feel safe in the surrounding area. The room didn't have air conditioning, but there was a small fan.

Good
The room was totally enough to stay for some days. As I travel, I just need some clean and comfortable place to sleep and wash myself, which totally satisfied my needs.
The surroundings were a very bad, as is the whole Bahnofsviertel. Full of strange people, drug addicts, homeless people. Didn't really feel safe when getting back to hotel in the evening. I also did not like that I had to give the key to the receptionist whenever I go from the hotel away.
